If you watched my Instagram stories this week, I mentioned a new collaboration I’ve been working on. Nope, it’s not with any of my favorite designers or stores. This one is with my husband… 😉 I guess it’s more of an announcement…

We are PREGNANT! Well, I am pregnant. It’s kind of strange when people say “we are”, because I’m doing all the work here.

It’s been a long time coming for this wonderful announcement. And by that, I don’t mean that we’ve been trying forever because we honestly didn’t try for that long. I mean that we have been together now for 12 years and married for 3 and this is something we’ve always wanted. Not to mention, our friends and family have been asking about us having kids for years. Like ok, we get it, we took our time. But honestly, that is what was best for us, so we have no regrets waiting until now.

I feel like I have SO much to say right now. No new blog posts have been published in two months! Mostly because I’ve been a little preoccupied with this whole pregnancy thing. I felt so bad not writing on here or posting on Instagram or my stories, but I really needed the time to myself. I’ve really been through A LOT these last few months.

For now, I am just going to keep this post about the excitement of the pregnancy announcement. We’ve obviously wanted to shout it from the rooftops for weeks now, but it’s just too risky the first few months. RC and I loved having the time to reflect and be alone together with the news, which has made it more exciting for us I think. Of course, we told our parents and siblings as soon as we could-which proved to be more difficult than we thought. There are SO many videos coming of all their reactions and some are much better than others! I am still working on compiling them all, but keep a look out for those soon.

Anyways, I am officially 13 weeks today! We don’t know the sex yet but will find out at the end of the month. In my heart, I feel I know what it is and of course everyone around me has their opinion. So we will see!

In the mean time, of course this space will continue to be about fashion and jewelry, but like anything, it will evolve with me. So I’ll start to include posts about my pregnancy and how things are going and what I am learning along the way. Feel free to ignore them if you’re just here for the cute clothes!
